Having a higher degree does not mean the individual can apply that knowledge appropriately. In terms of educators much depends on their ability to appropriately inspire trust and confidence, and motivate students, as well as understand the students' educational and emotional needs. This typically comes from a passion for what they do. Unfortunately, some do not possess that passion.
