Yes they have been cancelled... however, it is still optional whether the school would like to do them. If your school will not be doing SATs, you will have a end of year assessment! NEW USER Yes they have been cancelled... however there will be test's will still be carried out too judge what SET your child is in for Maths English and Science once they are in year 10 .. but the overall SATS are cancelled ... they are only simple non pressurised test's :)
How old are kids in US when they take sats?
You usually take 2 sets of SATs in your life: one in Year two when you are 6 or 7, and one in Year 6 when you are 10 or 11. Some schools do 'practise' SATs inbetween, and schools used to do SATs in Year Nine as well

In mid may 2010 is on 10th may around that day it will start and lasts a week. Yeah it does xx I hope for you that like me my year 6 sats have been cancelled due to us already doing 4 mock sats previously this year xx
