A freshmen or freshman is a 9th grader (first year of high school). Both are correct. Freshmen is plural: "The Freshmen sit in the first rows at the game." Freshman is singular: "The student waiting in the office is a Freshman."
A freshmen, usually!
Usually High School Freshmen aren't old enough to have a work permit. The best jobs would be babysitting, and cleaning things out for people.
A great way of starting high school is by looking at it with a positive outlook and being excited about the things coming up. :)
Most freshmen in high school are 14 years old when they start high school, unless your local high school starts with sophomore year. If you become a freshmen when you are 14, then you would be starting high school in 1988.

Schools cannot discriminate against age. If you have skipped a few grades but have done tremendously well in high school, there is no reason as to why being 16 would not work in your favor - if anything, it is very impressive.
