School Attire: • Shorts with minimal 3-inch inseams (Capris and jeans are great in cool rooms.) • Pants that come high enough to cover stomach at all times. Low rise jeans are problematic with short shirts. No underwear may show. • Pajama pants, flip flops, hats, bandanas, and do-rags may not be worn. • Skirts as long as your fingertips with arms down (at attention) • Shirts that cover midriffs, with no spaghetti straps or inappropriate artwork, unhealthy slogans, or offensive/obscene language. • Ipods/phones should not be seen or heard on our campus. Suggested classroom materials: Teachers will provide specific classroom lists at our August 21 open house and on the first day of school, August 27. • #2 lead pencils or mechanical pencils (several) with extra erasers • colored pencils (drawing) and 2 colored pens (editing and checking) • hand held pencil sharpener with attached container for shavings • 1 zippered pencil pouch for 3-ring binder • 3 black or blue pens (Please...no pastels, metallic, or fluorescent colors.) • highlighter pen • 1 three ringed binder (2 inches wide) and 1 pack of subject dividers for notebook • 2-3 packs college-ruled notebook paper • one black and white marbled cover composition book (no spiral) • 1 subject composition book (perforated tear-out preferred) • 4 pocket portfolio folders with 3 prongs • box of tissues (for your homebase class) • bookbag: Note: rolling bookbags do not fit in our lockers. • 8 th grade: 2 three-ringed binders, 1 five-subject spiral notebook, and a ruler School hours: 8:20-3:30 Lunch: $1.80 Locker rental: $1.00 • Athletes must have a completed physical form BEFORE football and softball tryouts begin August 28, 3:45-5:30 . *Football meeting after school August 27. • After the first day of school, students need a T-shirt, shorts, and athletic shoes for daily Physical Education.

go to http://www.hcbe.net/ then click in schools. then middle schools. then feagin mill. the supply list should be on there

It completely depends on the school, but if you go to Google and search "middle school supplies list" a whole bunch of good stuff will show up
