I don't know where Robertson County is, but having a child has nothing to do with being able to take the GED exam. You may have to wait until you are 18 to take the exam, or until your freshman class graduates from high school, that is going to be state dependent. Some states allow exceptions to the age requirements. Your local high school can probably give you all the details. Visit the official GED Testing Service website at www.acenet.edu for more information or call 1-800-62-MYGED (1-800-626-9433) to find your local GED Testing Center. The center can tell you: * Whether you can take the GED Tests * Where to find the Official GED Practice Tests * Where to find a GED instructional program * How much it costs to take the tests * When the tests are given * Other useful information

You can get your GED if you're 17 in Tennessee. I'm going in the day before my 17th birthday to take my GED test. Talk to your school principal or persona of guidance to double check. They may be able to help you. Or if your school has a police officer on grounds during school, he/she will tell you the law of getting your GED. I've talked to all of mine and they all say the same thing. You have to be 17, you have to have a job, and if you don't pass you can be in GED classes for at least four years.
