No sorry you cannot must be 18 yrs of age or older.
Or become emancipated.
Actually the answer above is completely wrong. In South Carolina when you are 17 years old you are considered a legal adult. Yes, you can drop out of school. If you would like to be withdrawn then your parents need to sign a paper. However, if you just no longer attend school then eventually you will be dropped from the roster. Once you are 17 years old truancy does not apply to you.
How do I know? I'm 17 years old that recently dropped out in South Carolina.

If you are a high school drop out and you do not have your GED, you cannot get your drivers license until you are eighteen. If you already have your license when you drop out, it will be revoked.
In West Virginia a child must be at least 16 years of age to drop out of school. There is a law that will take away their drivers license if they choose to drop out though.
1-never drop out of school 2-shouldnt have a child when you're only a child yourself 3-goodluck on life.....sounds like you're going to need it
Parents have to persuade the child that school is a great place to learn and relax. They go more easy on their child and try to soothe her/him that school is a proper and healthy enviorment for a child to grow.
The legal age to drop out of school in Pennsylvania is 18. Students who are 17 may drop out if they meet certain requirements, such as having parent or guardian permission.
