i dont think so.in iist and iiser the first preference is given to those rankers in the cml who have not been given any seat in iits.there will be 1500 or more candidates like that.moreover there are only 156 seats in iist. but who if you are lucky you may getin. dont be disheartened and do apply for them.

There is possible admission in IISc and IISER institutes. IISc / Jawaharlal Inst of Adv Studies / IIIt Bangalore ( Triple IT Bangalore - pronounced ). There are other private institutes which consider this EML rank list of IIT. I am not sure of full list, but these may be Dhirubhai Ambani Inst at Gandhinagar.
