Your parents would have to withdraw you, but why would you want to? School is truly everything that has to do with a better life. I hated school but sqeeked by, went into the service where I became disabled, I then had no option but to go back to school, if I wanted my kids to eat: college, clothes, etc. Do not destroy your possibilities while your still young. Best wishes People only drop out of high school because it's eather they have kids get married have jobs or family problems and they can go back to school when ever they feel the need to.

People can drop out of high school for whatever reason they feel necessary, and staying in high school certainly is not everything to do with a better life. You can drop out and get a GED, which 95% of colleges in the United States accept as the equivalent to a high school diploma. True, some people do drop out because they have kids or family problems, but you can also drop out due to lack of interest, to get a job to save for college while studying for/getting your GED, or simply because you can't stand public school. Dropping out isn't an easy solution though, it's really not for everyone. If you're not independent and goal-oriented, staying in high school would probably be best. As someone who plans to drop out, and has family/friends who have dropped out, I can say it's not the terrible thing everyone assumes it to be. Only one of the seven people I know who have dropped out is not is college. The rest are doing perfectly fine with their lives, probably far better than they would be doing had they stayed in school. It is entirely your choice to drop out, but do remember, it is not just an easy solution when you have a bad day, it's a life-altering choice that you have to be one hundred percent sure of.

However, to actually answer this question, the dropout age varies from state to state.

Can you drop out of high school at the age of 15?

It depends on where you are. Different locations have different laws. However, in order to legally drop out at 15, it's likely that no matter where you are you will have to have a better reason than "I want to" ... financial hardship, for example. In some places you can take a basic proficiency exam and get a certificate which is legally equivalent to a high school diploma (sort of like a GED); usually there's a minimum age for this (in California, for example, you have to be 16).
