Just as you have some students who never want to do any work, you also have the opposite - perfectionists who never feel that they are totally ready and push themselves to work and work and work.

When studying, if you are giving the correct answer to 90 or 95 percent of your practice questions or problems, you're finished.

Pushing yourself further than that - trying to be perfect - might actually backfire on you. The stress of thinking you must be perfect makes you more nervous and anxious than if you just accept that you might not make a perfect grade and just do your best. Stress makes it harder for your brain to come up with the right answer, and anxiety makes you less likely to be successful because you're wasting energy worrying.
