Strayer University has the preferred regional accreditation by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and is a College Board member. Therefore, the coursework and degree completed through this institution will be recognized by all other colleges and universities as well as employers. ****** I would disagree with what the previous poster said. Just because a school is a member of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools does not mean that other member schools will accept credits. Many schools will not accept credits from on-line and/or for-profit schools. If you just want a teaching degree so you can teach you should be fine, however if you want to go on to graduate education or into the business world, it will not be competitive with degrees from traditional institutions (but is still much better than no degree at all!)
An llb is what law school graduates used to get until the law schools and their graduates got tired of being in the back of the academic line at graduations and other formal occasions. It stands for "bachelor of laws." It has been replaced by JD, so we lawyers get to be with the other doctors at the head of the line.
As the first line of their web-site says - it's 'Free educational; resources for Schools and Colleges'.
Many places - Community colleges specialize in courses and curriculum, so do 4 year colleges, or at specialized training schools. You can even train on-line (although it isn't recommended).
Public colleges and universities and Military services accept high school diplomas issued by accredited or recognized high schools. Most public high schools are recognized and most online schools are also accredited so their diplomas are accepted. However your high school diploma is not a ticket to entrance. You will still have to apply and go through each institution's own evaluation process.
There are many different colleges offering health care management degrees. Go to your favorite browser and type in the degree you wish to achieve and numerous on-line colleges will be listed.
That depends on what college you are talking about. Many colleges offer CNA classes on line. You can do a search for CNA classes on line to find what colleges offer this.
You could try contacting the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges in Arlington, Virginia. They would be able to help you or inform you of how to apply on line.
There are many colleges in North Carolina that offer culinary training. Some of the higher colleges include The International Culinary Schools at The Art Institute of Charlotte and Johnson and Wales University, also in Charlotte. Should these schools not be acceptable, more can be found at www.chef2chef.net under North Carolina. Carteret Community College and Durham Technical Community College are two of the colleges that offers Culinary Training in NC. The training are for line cooks, kitchen managers and pastry chefs.
YOU just look at the lowest point of the meniscus!
Different colleges have different policies regarding high school GED graduates. A GED graduate should check with the specific schools that he/she is interested in attending to get specifics regarding entrance requirements...Community and Junior colleges most often will treat high school and GED graduates the same in terms of entrance. Many universities will require SAT/ACT scores to determine acceptance or will recommend that a student attend community college and transfer in once a certain amount of college credits are achieve.Bottom line: it depends on the college. Most colleges are willing to work with students individually to tailor a suitable program/ admissions agreement. In terms of college searching, just make sure the college is ACCREDITED! Check the US Department of Education's website to verify accreditation. --> http://ope.ed.gov/accreditation/Search.aspx
