Yes, they do. Although you get a diploma after graduating High School, you only have a chance to get one. There's certain levels of degrees you can receive in college.
1) Just a plain college degree- nothing very special.
2) Graduates Degree- you can go to Graduate School and get a degree for completion (after #1).
3) Masters degree- guarantees a good resume, but you have to go to school longer (after #1-2).
4) Doctorate- get the title "Dr." before your name, but you have to attend school even longer! (after #1-3).
5) You can keep on getting doctorates after this. It looks SUPER good on your resume and higher pay, but it's not worth it- you'll be fine with one of each.
