How come high school guys can't date a middle school girl?

I am a middle school girl and i am currently dating a high school guy. As long as he treats you right then go for it. i am 12 and he is 16. we both think this relationship will last forever. we are comfortable around each other and not that shy. and i trust him not to do anything bad to me. Not a safe thing to do. There is only one reason a 16 year old would date a 12 year old and that is illegal. The 16 year old can be in real trouble if the younger one even hints that something happened, whether it did or not. And as a parent, I would never approve of such a relationship for either of them. It has too much of a risk of ruining the rest of their lives.

when i was in middle school 6 grade 11 years old i heard people talk about middle school girls 6 grade 11 years old dating high school boys 12 grade seniors 18 years old i knew them i even saw them at the malls, at the restaurants, at the movies, at the park when my parents took me, i saw them after school getting a ride in the boys cars, getting dropped off in front of their houses when i was walking by because they lived closed to school and i live closed to school too i asked them 'do y'all know each other?' and they said 'yes we're dating i knew the boys because there my dad's friends sons
