chips (like in fish 'n chips)
Les chips it's really that simple.
They use the word chips when Americans say French fries (potatoes).
Well basically, I am french, and in France we tend to say 'un paquet de chips'. However, usually we would say some crisps which translates to 'des chips'.
Beloje et des terre
Grains de chocolat =)
des chips = some crisps
the french do not eat fish and chips and so there is no phrase for it however fish = poisson and = et chips = pommes frites hope this helps

If it's American chips, "des chips" or "quelques chips". If it's the British ones, "des frites" or "quelques frites". Or if it's a chipped object, there are several translations depending on the context.
Les chips au sel et au vinaigre.
