Yes, in France, many students have a longer lunch break and often go home for lunch. This is common practice in the French education system to allow students to have a break during the day and eat a meal at home with their families.
No. Depending on your school you could be breaking the rules too. Many schools have a closed campus and have students stay at school during lunch. This is often done because students get into trouble at lunch, have fights, and could be hurt.

They do not go to school outside. However, the buildings are much different than the U.S. mainland. They are all separate so students do have to walk outside between classes and lunch.
I noticed that there is a rule where students cannot go outside of the lunchroom during that students lunch period. This to me is a big issue as to us teens have the right to leave and enjoy our lunch outside of the cafeteria boundaries. It isn't fun always having to sit in the same place. I say we should act upon this. Now the teens should have a choice whether to stay in the cafeteria or not. In addition, most of the kids don't want to eat school lunches. They would rather drive out to eat. They want to go to places like McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's, etc. And they want to enjoy sitting outside for a little breeze or sunshine, in peace. That isn't too much trouble. I have already started talking to teachers and Guidance staff about this issue. I will talk to the AP and Principle tomorrow regarding this issue. Please notify however that we need full support from the student body in order for us to abolish this rule. If you want to help, then please sign the petition in the cafeteria during lunch period. Thank you for your time and patronage for the students.
Yes, schools should have recess before lunch as it allows children to expend energy and engage in physical activity, which can improve focus and behavior during the lunch period. Additionally, having recess before lunch can encourage healthier eating habits, as students are often more inclined to eat after playing. This arrangement can also enhance social interactions among peers, fostering a positive school environment. Overall, it supports both physical and mental well-being for students.
