Its really simple to take the new generation back to the basics of Islam. Teach them to read the Quran and if Arabic is not your mother-tongue, give your children a translation of Quran. Arabic Quran is useless of you don't know Arabic. Also, give them volumes of Hadith collection like Sahih Bukhari and Sahi Muslim etc. And then ask them to read and ponder over the true meaning of Islam. With the current political scenario, both the sides are somewhat wrong and the best thing to do is to read Islam from its source. The newe generation will automatically come to Islam
