How do you do an annotated bibliography?

If you are using information from a participant that you have interviewed, and to keep their identity unknown. For example lets say that you give your participants a number, and you want to quote something they said, you put it like this. Participant #21, stated, "in order to help a student be more successful in their education you must see the student as an unique individual, and not assume they know what you are talking about about" (2009).

MLA Unpublished interview If you have conducted a personal interview your citation contains basic information like the person's name, medium (e.g., face-to-face, by e-mail or telephone) and date. Your own name doesn't appear, since it is assumed that you are the interviewer. Since your interview is "unpublished," it is a good idea to print the e-mail interview or tape record the oral interview. MLA Published interview If you are citing an interview from a newspaper, magazine, book, one you heard on (or the transcript of) a television or radio program, sound or video recording, select "Interview" as the citation type and then select the publication type on the following screen. First you need to Identify (Title, Person, Claims they had) for your first 1-2 sentences. The second and third sentences should present a Summary of the interview. Be sure to include any limitations or biases of the person. Then, evaluate by stating the validity of the person you interview (why are the credible for this topic?). Keep in mind that in MLA format, the annotation should be approximately 150 words.
