You should definantly hear this from a middle school girl. I am one. So listen, its easy to try to impress her by being good at sports or showing of but be really careful if u want to do that cause she can end up thinking your arrogent,selfish, and egotistical. very bad. Be sweet, kind, and polite. Be her friend. Listen to her, not in a creepy way, but just figure out a way to talk to her. Talk about things u both like, or even contact her on facebook or text her. Give her space but be there for her when ever she needs you. hope this helps ;)

Study, do your homework, and hand in assignments on time. In other words, just act normal.

Some things you can do are do good in school (of course), participate and ask questions if you need help. Also, hand in assignments on time and behave during class. Maybe they won't become your best friend, but it can help.
you have to do two things:

1) Become friends with the teacher. Remember, your teacher's also a person, just like you. Be mature and have friendly non-school related conversation, or talk about a subject you really like. If a teacher likes you they'll notice you more, and in taking the initiative on friendly conversation instead of maintaining a strict student-teacher relationship, you'll have friends in the right places.

2) In homeworks or projects, be sure to always think outside of the box. Think about the thing that is most complicated (but still possible) and farthest from what you think other people will be doing (but still following the guidelines the teacher has laid out). If your schoolwork stands out, you'll always be "the one that made that AWESOME poster" and your teacher will keep you a head above the rest in their eyes.
