The traits that you received from your parents, the traits that your children will receive from you, and their children theirs, and so on and so on is written genetically in your DNA. DNA is basically a record book that stores all the information. Genes specifically have that information, which is in DNA.

You inherit all sorts of stuff from your parents. From some of your personality to skin color, plus some diseases, tendencies, and parts of your health. It's sort of random regarding what you get from each parent, but their genetics account for most, if not all, of your genetic info.

I'd ask the same damned thing . I'd probably say this would happen if one of your parents passes away or gets killed. It sounds crazy huh? Don't feel stupid I used to ask this.
