You try to think positively about the situation. Just 6 more months! If you are having a problem learning the material in that class, you can visit your counselor and try to switch your schedule at the change of semesters. It is not a guarantee that you will have a meeting of the minds with the new teacher, but it is an opportunity. You should, however, make sure that your behavior as far as paying attention in class (not being disruptive, either), doing the homework and taking the tests, is beyond reproach. If the subject is difficult, look for tutoring (honor society usually has people available) so that you manage your understanding, too.

If you're not in college then you're not going to be able to just stop going. The best thing to remember is to not hate anyone - you're not perfect and neither is your teacher. That said if your teacher says or does something inappropriate you should talk to your teacher and parents about it. One of the big truths is that in life is you are going to have to deal with plenty of people you don't like and don't like you. People will be unkind and more just remember that you have to pick and choose your battles to fight. Hating your teacher all year is going to be a big waste of your time because it won't solve anything.
