if its on notebook paper use a wide ruled page most teachers wont notice. if its on the computer im assumeing the font size needs to be 12 i always change it to 13 and make the bottom margine .25 smaller im a senior in highschool and its worked for me so far!
The first thing to consider is why should you make the paragraph longer? You should NOT simply make a writing longer in order to only reach an assigned :
- word count
- page count
You should write more in order to:
- use a good thesis sentence
- cover each point
- make points clearer
- give supporting sentences
- give more detail
- make a good conclusion
If you cannot justify making your writing longer using one of those 6 items, then you should not write more. Writing longer is NOT writing better.
