I just did this. First off make sure you have a valid replacement part. I had to go back and forth several times to get the right part. Make sure the one you get WILL fit a Saturn and isn't just one for "most GM vehicles". To remove the lighter you will need to remove the panel on the driver's side, just below the radio bezel, it just pulls off. Once you have the panel off you will need to unclip the lead to the back of the lighter and unclip the light on the bottom. Then unscrew the back section of the lighter and then you should be able to easily remove it

Gently pry out the old lighter from its socket using a small flathead screwdriver or similar tool. Disconnect the wiring harness from the back of the lighter and connect the new lighter to the harness before inserting it back into the socket. Finally, reconnect the battery and test the new lighter to ensure it works properly.
