"Toda Al Etmol" - תודה על אתמול
Thanking someone for yesterday infers that someone actually gave you yesterday. It would be better to say, "Thank you for making yesterday special."

You would say: lo todá (לא תודה)
tov, todah (טוב, תודה)
todah, boreh (תודה, בורא)
"Thank you for delivering it to me yesterday"
well we sometimes will say hello in Hebrew which is shalom; and we will also say thank G-d in Hebrew (baruch Hashem), when asked how we are.
