un lata de melocotones en rodajas
I found a pdf from University of Illinois Extension that states that one pound of fresh peaches equals... 2-3 medium peaches 2 cups sliced 1 1/2 cups pureed So if I reverse logic and do the math right, then 2 cups sliced is 1 pound and 4 cups sliced would be 2 pounds... So, 4 cups. Right?
The number of cups that 8 peaches will yield depends on their size and how they are prepared (sliced, chopped, etc.). Generally, one medium peach is about 1 cup when sliced. Therefore, 8 medium peaches would yield approximately 8 cups when prepared. However, if the peaches are small or large, the yield may vary slightly.
It depends on the size of the peaches, but on average there are about 3-4 peaches in 1 pound.
The number one in Spanish is uno.
Peaches can be pickled, for example, 8 large ripe and firm peaches. 12oz granulated sugar, 1 pint white wine vinegar, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 1 level desert spoon coriander seeds and 1 level desert spoon pepper corns, 3 shallots peeled and finely sliced. Put into a large saucepan and simmer until all sugar is dissolved. In another saucepan of boiling water, place peaches, halved, stones removed and boil for a few seconds . Place peaches in other mixture and poach for 15 minutes. Remove peaches and boil liqueur until reduced by half. Put peaches into bottle, pour over liqueur and if necessary top up after 24 hours. Seal jar and keep for 6 weeks before using

2 peaches This would have to be very small peaches. Measuring a fresh peach in a recipe or diet replacement, it would be 1 AVERAGE peach to meaure 1 cup of peaches. Using purchased/processed peaches which are diced, it would still be 1 peach per 1 cup. If you are processing (canning), removing the pit and quartering the fruit, you would be able to get 2 peaches in a pint jar.
