In the Irish language, Críostóir [kreestór] = Christopher.

In the Scottish Gaelic Crìsdean [kreeshtan] is equated with Christopher, Cairistìona [karishtcheena] with Christine/Christina. 'Chrissie' would be Criosaidh[krissee].
