MurTHAYdes ('th' as in 'thin') if u want to speak it but written is the same,

vowels work different in spanish

Mer makes the first e sound like a U as in MURH, but the next E after the C becomes a TH giving the Thay, the last e is flat as in days (Murh)(thay)(days)

so even though its written the same the way to say it is

MurTHAYdes
