However, while "trinitario" is the proper translation for Trinidadian, most Spanish-speakers will not recognize the word and think you are saying "Trinitarian" (which is a common Christian theological position) instead of "Trinidadian". As a result, it is probably better to say "una persona de Trinidad" then "trinitario", even though trinitario is technically correct.
