strange is not Japanese.

strange is English.

but nice try trying to trick people.

the Japanese equivalent for strange depends on the type of strangeness.

eg. in English you could say strange, weird, odd, crazy, freaky etc etc blah blah blah

but some things that might be called weird, might not also be called freaky etc etc blah blah blah

so best to post your question as a complete English sentence so that the reply you get will fit the context correctly

i could tell you about 15 different stranges that would be used exactly the same way by every single native speaker of nihongo. which is the beauty of Japanese, it is so traditional and structured that everyone makes the same noise for a dog = wanwan

but in English some people will say woof, others ruff and others grrr etc etc blah blah

you gotta get away from word for word translations.

always think of context
