The way I know how to say a poem is by reading how many syllables it has on each line. I have a pet called lilly-soe I have a pet called li-lly-soe =8 syllables You may be asking about the pronunciation of the word. It is a two-syllable word pronounced something like this following. PO-em, where the 'e' is a neutral unstressed vowel sound. It is similar to the 'a' in abut. I will sometimes make the e sound more like 'bet', but this is just because I like the sound. It is more correct to give it the neutral unstressed sound as described above.

rhyme scheme
No, unless you say it in a poem or a song!
Read it many times. After reading it many, many times, try to say it out loud, one line, or a few lines, at a time, without looking at the written poem - then check with the written poem. Or say it out loud while a friend checks the written poem. Even if you can say the entire poem from beginning to end, continue practicing during the following days - you may forget parts of the poem again.
