僕はどこにいた? (boku WA doko ni ita) would mean "Where was I?" in Japanese.

Answer- Informal : Watashi WA dokoni itandakke. (umm.. where was I?)(where was I again?)

- Informal : Watashi WA dokoni ita no kashira. (wondering to oneself) (where was I?)

- Formal : Watashi WA doko ni imashita ka. ( Where was I?)

You can replace 'watashi' with 'boku' which adds a masculine or boyish sense.

You can remove kke from the first sentence to remove the sense of trying to remember, or saying again in the end. You can also remove no kashira in the second one to undo the sense of wondering or thinking out loud to yourself.
