When the wicked are being confounded, call me amongst the blessed. The quote is from Mozart's Requiem.Actually it's "Confutatis", not confetti's.Actually, it is from Thomas of Celano's work "Dies Irae" (meaning Day of Wrath) and predates Mozart by a century (give or take.)Stanza 16 reads:Confutatis maledictis,Flammis acribus addictus:Voca me cum benedictis. It is variously translated as:While (or As) the wicked stand confound,Doomed to flames of woe unbounded:Call me with Thy Saints surrounded.
In Irish it's: mallaithe (wicked) ifreannach / anduine (wicked person) álainn / sciamhach / deas / galánta (lovely)

This is a quote from the 16th verse of the hymn Dies Irae (Day of Wrath) possibly the worlds third most well known hymn in Gregorian chant after the forms of the Agnus Dei and Kyrie. It was featured in boondocks saints both to add legitimacy that they were on a quest from God and of the gun dealer as IRA as this quote from the Hymn is engrained Irish Catholic Culture and superstition. Also it is one of the most quoted lines of Dies Irae as it is imploring Gods forgiveness and is among the more hope-filled in the poem. The hymn like many of its time is a prayer written to be sung, (as most of the mass was sung in the period of authorship) and is strongly attributed to the Franciscan order.
