Its not the end of the world..they might yell at you, but they will only be madder if you try and hide it...just use your normal grades as leverage and say u were just having a really bad day or tired or something and that it was just a fluke... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ What if they don't see things like that? It was a very important term paper and will definitely affect my average, with no way to really improve [100% in the only other (difficult) Biology paper will give me an average of about 75%]. The school I go to is extremely competitive (last year, the difference between 1st place and 10th place in the grade, for all subjects, was 3%, and we were all in the 90's) and I really need to have top marks to be able to leave the country and get accepted at a top medical university overseas. That is why I am uncertain about how they will react. I really don't know what to do. I have already been in trouble at school this week for being part of a very stupid incident, which really embarrassed them and me. Although they're strict, I love them more than anything in the world and hate to disappoint them (which has happened far too often this year)! Can anyone else give their advice on the matter? Perhaps, how to go about telling them, as a start? Anything would be appreciated. Thanks a lot! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Marine biology typically requires a strong foundation in biology, chemistry, and physics. Coursework often covers topics such as oceanography, marine ecology, marine conservation, and marine biodiversity. Practical experience through fieldwork, internships, or research opportunities is also valuable for aspiring marine biologists.
