When daytime running lights do not work, it means the bulbs may have burned out. It could also mean the fuses have failed or there is a short in the wiring.
There is a fuse for these lights. I would highly recommend not doing this as it is illegal.
Hit 'em with a big hammer
To enable daytime running lights on a 2004 Infiniti G35, you will need to access the vehicle's settings through the dashboard display. Look for the settings related to lighting or vehicle customization. Within those settings, there should be an option to activate daytime running lights. Select this option and follow any on-screen prompts to confirm the change. If you are unable to find this option in the settings, consult the vehicle's manual for specific instructions on enabling daytime running lights.
Cheapest returnable answer is to remove the bulbs

I have a 2004, Eddie Bauer Explorer. On the light switch itself, there is a selection to turn on or off the day lights, as well as the extended, courtesy lights after ignition is turned off.

My 2004 Endeavor does not. However, I like the idea, and the lights turn off when the ignition switch is in the lock position, so I leave the headlights on all the time.
