Do you mean that your son failed some eighth grade classes, but you want him to move on to grade nine, anyways?

Well, I suggest talking to the principal directly. Call the school and request to speak with him/her, whether it's on the phone or in person.

He/she should then be able to explain what you have to do in order to let your son move on to the next grade.
