I'm currently taking Lit and Lang and I'm really enjoying the course. With the language part of the course, we have an anthology which consists of about 30 texts that we analyse; passports, leaflets, poems, short stories and so on. For the literature part, we studied two novels and wrote two pieces of coursework on them - a comparitive essay of about 1500 words and a creative writing piece of about 800 words.
At secondary school there was English language and English literature. English language was punctuation etc. English literature was popems, stories etc.
