It is hard to quantify this for many reasons. What is regarded as an injury can vary. A player may get injured during a game and be fine soon after. A player may get a more serious injury which stops them playing in a match, but they are soon fit again. A player may get a very serious injury which results in them missing many matches. Although very rare, players can get a career-ending injury. Many injuries happen in small clubs and go unreported. Injuries happen to players not playing in any club, like in schools or even players playing amongst themselves, and go unreported.
