Minimum wage. A few states have set their own minimum wage different from the federal government minimum wage (now $7.28 per hour). If you already are in the state where you are considering washing dishes in a restaurant then find-out if the state has a different minimum wage. If the company where you are considering employment has its headquarters (where they incorporated) in a different state than the branch / franchise location where you are considering employment, then the federal minimum wage almost always will be the applicable standard.
you would get paid 8 dollars an hour
It depends on what type of job you are asking for.
A Child Labor Payment Depends on what kind of labor they are doing and how long it takes. If its a simple house chore, such as washing dishes should be paid about $3.50-$5.00 a week nothing too much but nothing too little. If the child is willingly doing an actual job,I say treat them like they are an actual worker. --That's just my opinion-- Hope it helped :)
Alternative medicine practioners should not get paid as much as regular doctors.
Yes, it is illegal for an employer to require a waitress to wash dishes while being paid a lower wage for tipped employees. Waitresses should be paid at least the minimum wage for all hours worked, regardless of the tasks they are performing.
Yes. Why should a profeesional athlete be paid millions to do what they love.?
