Well, first of all you need to be very nice to everyone. Don't be mean like those girls/boys in the movies. You should also be clean, like brush your teeth, shower, and brush your hair. Wear some makeup like mascara and eyeliner. Don't use to much though!

If you have a boyfriend/girlfriend then you get a higher status because you get to know their friends as well.

DON'T BE SHY AT ALL.

You need to be outgoing and talk confident.

You should also have nice clothes, expensive is not always an answer. You can have cheap clothes, but they need to be nice. Look at other popular people, what do they wear?

One key thing is that you make friends with popular kids as well. They will show you around and introduce you to many others.

Get a phone and text a lot. Have a Facebook and chat a lot, this will bust up your social status.

Well don't be friends with everyone, have some really close friends like a BFF. You need to trust that person, don't be friends with people who use you. Popularity isn't about how many people you know, it's about having awesome friends which would never leave your side.

It depends on who you want to be popular with. If I recall, high school had a lot of cliques and each one had its showoff.
