The Spanish liked the land, spices, and gold, and other resources they could get from the Natives, and they took those from them while also treating the Natives as animals or inferior humans. After killing, raping, and selling many of the natives, asking if the Spanish liked the Native Americans will leave you with a fairly simple answer: no.
