I am a 19 year old mother of 2 with a High School Diploma and am trying to start my career im looking into OBGYN nursing can any one tell me how i should start?

I would recommend you start at your home county community college. You can take any basic skills courses needed (if any), and take the prerequisite nursing courses. The community college is more community oriented, they have better individualized attention, smaller classroom size, good professor to student ratio, good academic learning centers, excellent counseling services, as well as other student services. Still, I must inform you that there are three typical paths leading to a registered nurse as follows.

• diploma program (typically three years, not recommended for individuals who do not have an already existing degree)
• associate degree (two years as a full-time student once the student starts the professional phase of the program)
• bachelor's degree (BSN) (four years as a full-time student)
