Anyone can attend any community college no matter where they live. However, the tuition rates are different according to where you live. For individuals who live in-county the tuition rate will be the lowest the college charges. For individuals who live out-of county it will be higher (most often double), and for those who live out-of-state, the tuition rate may be even higher depending on the schools tuition policies. In many states, there are programs referred to as Charge-Back Assistance. If your home county community college does not offer the program you want, you can go to another community college that does offer the program, and still pay the in-county tuition rate.
