If you don't get your homework done what are the consequences likely to be?

You can be arrested if you break the law. Doing your homework is not a law - it is a way for you to practice what you are learning so that you will understand how to do it better. Homework also teaches you skills like finding information and reading, which will be useful in many other situations outside of school. What happens if you don't do your homework? You won't understand the work as well as you would if you did the work. If you don't understand it as well, you won't make as good a grade as you would if you did understand, and you might even fail the class. So there is no need to arrest you, because you are punishing yourself by not doing all that you can to help you learn the things you will need when you get out of school.

Yes - the consequence of not doing your homework is getting a bad grade. That (and its natural consequences, such as being grounded, having privileges like TV and Video Games taken away by your parents, etc.) should be your punishment.

If you don't do your homework the consequences will be less likely to get good GCSE's as you won't fully understand what topic you was doingand you will most likely get a detentiom.
