To call the university a scam is inaccurate. They offer degrees and three is no reason to suspect that they do not deliver as promised.

California South University offers online degrees based on life experience. Their degrees incluide bachelors, masters and PhDs. The PhD requirements page quotes "... apply for a degree in your desired major and get it in just 15 days!"

Bearing in mind that PhDs are the result of many years' learning, study and research, a 15 day doctorate might be considered to devalue the qualification.

The university claims that it is accredited but the accreditation organization points out that other academic bodies may not recognize the accreditation. It suggests that students confirm with other academic institutions that the qualification obtained under their accreditation will be accepted. It is wise advice.
