I received a letter and a check for over $3,000. The check itself appears to be a bona fide check, but some things about the letter raised my eyebrows, specifically, that there were quite a few grammar errors in the text. When I called the number given it was on a Saturday and a woman answered the phone. She was not very professional sounding. Not rude, but not professional sounding. She told me to call back on Monday between 10 and 7. I've tried to call back numerous times but the phone kicks me straight to voicemail; I can;t leave a message because the mailbox is full. I'm thinking about dropping the check in the bank and see what happens.
