The Professional Technical Societies Like : The Insitution of Mechanical Engineers (India)-Navi Mumbai , IEI-Kolkatta , IETE-New Delhi , IIIE-Navi Mumbai etc.. are Recognized by the MINISTRY OF HRD,Govt. of India. AICTE ,UGC & DEC Have no direct powers by any ACT in their constitution to approve the PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING EXAMINATIONS Like-Chartered Engineers Examination [A.M.I.Mech.E(I) ] ,Technician Engineers Examination [T.Eng.] ,A.M.I.E.(I) , A.M.I.E.T.E. , D.I.P.E.T.E. ,AMIIIE etc.. conducted by the Professional Technical Societies in the counrty. The MHRD,Govt. of India reviews the syllabus & courses of these professional bodies thru AICTE and as per recommendation of the AICTE the MHRD ,Govt. of India decides the Recognition of these courses. The syllabus of the A.M.I.Mech.E(I) & T.Eng. examinations conducted by the I.Mech.E(I),Navi Mumbai are approved by the AICTE & Recognition is accorded by the MHRD,Govt. of India.
