When I spoke to them they readily admitted that their programs are geared to those who need a degree more than to those who need an education. But they don't issue degrees to anyone for a fee, which is what I take the term to mean. Bottom line, they got me into an accredited MBA fast (under a year) and cheap (I was eligible for more work experience credits than I was able to find anywhere else). It wasn't Harvard but it worked for me.
When I inquired about their PhD program and told them I would like to pursue my PhD degree by submitting a thesis, they assigned me a supervisor and I submitted my thesis over a period of time taking into consideration my experience as well as the project that I am working on at that particular time. I am glad that there are institutions as such that do consider work experience as part of the learning process. Yes it works and its no diploma mill for me.

The above is the reason it's important to check out if any educational institute is accredited. Worthless degrees diminish those legitimate ones to the extent employers and other institutions are wary of such credentials that purport to show the person is qualified, educationally.
