that's not true. You can get into graduate school with a 3.0. It depends on the school and the availability of the program, your GRE score, whether you did any internships etc... colleges look at the totality of your achievements, not just your GPA. Your GPA is the most important, but schools consider everything. try to get a 1400 on your GRE, that's nice.
