The above made-up facts show why kids need homework to teach them how to RESEARCH AND LEARN FACTS. The Internet can give you any information you need, but you are wasting your time in this question complaining about the work ...

Also, sitting at your desk all day can cause even worse stress, they should have about 4 subjects to do each day and unlimited amount of computer time to empty out stress glands -

And sitting at a desk is not any more "stressful" than sitting on the sofa playing Video Games or chatting online. If you are going to give "facts" to support your argument, they need to be REAL facts, not made up. This is another thing you learn how to do by doing your homework - ARGUING EFFECTIVELY is a skill taught by writing persuasive essays and opinion paragraphs.

Homework is good for you because it helps you go over what you have learned in school and it helps you study for the FCAT . It also helps you to not forget about what you learn so basically its practice of what you have learned.

Besides the stress, no not at all.

Everybody would love to play all the time and not have to work. School is your job, and just like your parents have to go to a job every day, you have to do schoolwork even if it's not fun. Homework is not "bad" or harmful - it helps you learn the material and do better in school so you can get a better job and make more money once you are grown up.
