A lot of classes you take at a four year college can actually be taken at a 2 year college, which afterwards you would transfer credits and start off at the 4 year as a junior. You also have the option of graduating or not with an AA in your respective major, although you would have to conform to graduating requirements to do so. Financially it's better for sure. Quality of education is another matter.
