The amount that babies move during pregnancy varies alot depending on a number of factors. When mom-to-be is moving around (walking, cooking, folding laundry, etc) the baby tends to be lulled/rocked to sleep. However, when being still (sitting, sleeping) the baby 'wakes up'. Another factor from experience is what you ate recently. I recommend keeping a food/activity diary to see if you spot a trend of baby activity. How far along you are in the pregnancy can also impact how active the baby is due to developmental stages of the fetus. If you are concerned, please speak with your dr.
