The recently visited UGC committee has appreciated the performance of university in its report, copy of which is available in the PRIST University website, www.prist.ac.in. In addition this university's parent institution is a NAAC accredited institution with "A" Grade. The NAAC committee has also visited the University. Now the University offers UG, PG, M.Phil, Ph.D programs in Sciences, Arts, Humanities, Management, Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy, Social Works, clinical research, aviation management, logistics management etc. and various programs in distance mode also. The PRIST University is a very reputed University in Tamilnadu and has an exclusive identity of having a Research and Development Centre and producing research outputs and patents in various fields. IIPM gives degrees of MS University, an NAAC five star and UGC recognized university. IIPM per se is not a UGC University - but the degrees are all UGC recognized as IIPM itself doesn't give the degrees but MS University gives the same.

Hi, Its approved by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has graded it with B++ grade & Recognized by the University Grant Commission (UGC) but as far as AICTE is concerned I guess its more has to do with technical education, so all I can suggest is that its good for distance learning.
